Custom lengths

Request strip and flat bar to your required length instead of working around standard stock sizes.

Finished edges

Discuss round, deburred or square edges alongside your finished dimensions.

Plan material use

Provide part lengths and quantities so the team can review your processing combination.

Lengths selected for your parts

Custom-length strip can reduce offcuts compared with buying standard bar lengths. MD Metals offers light and heavy gauge processing, with round or square edges where the specification allows.

Orders can range from 500 pounds per size or order to truckloads. Include dimensional tolerances, material grade and intended edge condition when requesting a quote.

Plan the finished product

  • Specify thickness, width and exact finished length.
  • Identify round, square, slit or deburred edges.
  • Confirm packaging and order quantity.
  • Published edging widths reach 6 inches coil-to-coil and 10 inches cut-to-length.

Customer-owned material can also be processed under a toll arrangement.
