Processing for customer-owned coil

Toll processing applies MD Metals equipment and operating expertise to material you already own. Carbon steel, stainless and aluminum can be reviewed for slitting, edging and custom-length work.

Share the incoming coil dimensions and weight, grade, finish, required output and handling instructions so the team can assess the job.

Published processing ranges

  • Carbon-steel gauge range: .010–.500 inches.
  • Stainless-steel gauge range: .021–.250 inches.
  • Published slit width starts at .280 inches, depending on the job.
  • Inbound width reaches 60 inches.
  • Edging output reaches 6 inches coil-to-coil and 10 inches cut-to-length.
